To be honest, I find it quite hard to tell whether a toner really works – I don’t know if that’s because I don’t suffer from horrifically bad skin or if I just don’t take enough notice – but I do really like the Pixi Glow Tonic.

Unlike some toners, the product actually sinks into the skin rather than just lurk on top making adding moisturiser or serum over the top a tricky business. Also it’s very refreshing on the skin and I feel squeaky clean afterwards!

Thanks to the Glycolic Acid it exfoliates as well as tones which is exactly what’s needed to really kick your skin’s butt. Don’t be put off at the thought of acid – this is a good thing and, as Caroline Hirons says, is like taking your skin to the gym!

I have noticed my pores reduce in size which although was not a huge concern of mine, is always an added plus and my skin does just look that little bit more glowy and fresh. And although it is £18 which may seem pricy, the bottle will last you a good few months at least so it is definitely worth it IMO
